Air to Water – AW – 7500
A wind driven product
that produces clean water from air, with no grid connection, outside power or
chemicals. The airflow over the cold side of the heat exchanger condenses the
humidity in the air, just as in a dehumidifier, to produce up to 7,500 liters
per day.
Operating Principals
The Rainmaker turbine forces air through a heat
exchanger where the air is cooled and condensation takes place. When the
temperature falls below its dew-point, water droplets will form and are
collected in a water storage compartment. Warm ambient air, in particular, may
contain large amounts of water.
Lowering the temperature of air requires relatively
little energy. By doing so, large volumes of water become available by
condensation and can be utilized as drinking or irrigation water.
The system is highly efficient in converting wind energy
to thermal power, which in turn, feeds the water production unit attached to
the tower.
